Jewelry stolen from El Rancho recovered

GALLUP — The value of jewelry taken from the El Rancho Hotel gift shop Tuesday evening was estimated at $3,900 retail, after an inventory was taken Wednesday. The shop was offering a 40-percent discount on jewelry, so the actual value would be $2,340, according to Lita Keeto, a clerk in the gift shop.
